The Book of Life and Death : Working with Survivors of Suicide
Therapeutic Theatre is an embodied practice that is active and experiential. This approach can provide the context for participants to tell their stories, setgoals and solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis. Through drama, the depth and breadth of inner experience can be actively explored and interpersonal relationship skills can be enhanced. (Please note this is not an acting class.)This workshop is suitable for anyone wishing to learn more about working with survivors of suicide and the use of drama therapy as a therapeutic tool.This workshop is for anyone working with vulnerable populations.Please wear clothes you can move in.Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, an open mind and a willingness to participate.
